HOUSE PLAYER CALL-UPS TO REP SOCCER!
The following is the correct protocol for bringing up a house team player if you are going to be short of players for a game:
1. Rep coach contacts the club head coach/technical director and the board director.
2. Rep coach contacts the house league coach to ask if the player can come up
3. Rep coach if granted permission by the house coach will contact the parents of the player
4. Rep coach if granted permission from the parents will contact the player
5. If everything is permitted then the coach will let the KYSA office know so that a card can be produced.
A HOUSE player can play up to three games on a REP team in any given season.
Once they have played three games, the player must decide to either stay up in Rep or go back own to
House for the balance of the season. The three games include exhibition, tournament and league play.
KYSA is a CLUB! House coaches should be encouraging players to play up if they so desire.
The Rep coach cannot approach the house player prior to the other steps being completed.
There is no additional cost to the parents of the house player in order to play in a Rep team game.
If the house player and their parents decide that they would like to stay up, a further registration amount will be required.
If a player plays in a tournament, the house player will be required to pay the same amount as the rest of the team.
